Dale Byrne

Dale Byrne has demonstrated outstanding community leadership and service through his founding of Carmel Cares and his ongoing involvement in projects that benefit the residents and environment of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Under his direction, volunteer teams have contributed over 25,000 hours toward public beautification, infrastructure improvements, and community-driven initiatives.

With his hands-on approach, tireless dedication, and the ability to mobilize dozens of volunteers and hundreds of donors, Dale Byrne has earned the 2024 Monterey Bay Stars Award for Volunteer of the Year.
