David Marzetti

David Marzetti has been a familiar voice on the Monterey Peninsula for decades, known for his long-running SHAGBAG Radio Show and his commitment to highlighting local people, events, and community stories. With a broadcasting career that began in 1976 and continued through stations across the country before settling in Monterey in 1990, he remains one of the region’s most recognizable media personalities.

In addition to his on-air work, Marzetti is an active master of ceremonies and a regular presence at community events, supporting local causes and bringing visibility to organizations throughout the Monterey Bay area. His continued dedication to the community and his consistent impact on local radio have earned him the 2025 Monterey Bay Stars Award for Radio Host of the Year.
