Raymond H. Costa

Raymond H. “Ray” Costa is recognized for his outstanding leadership in business and philanthropy across Monterey County and the greater region. After building a successful career as a McDonald’s owner-operator, now overseeing multiple restaurants in the Salinas Valley and surrounding communities, he has consistently invested his time and resources back into the community.

Ray’s generosity spans support for organizations such as the Salvation Army, American Cancer Society, California Rodeo Salinas, Boys & Girls Clubs, Ronald McDonald House, Rancho Cielo, and many others, along with creating the Raymond H. Costa Family Scholarship Fund to help employees and their families pursue education. His combination of entrepreneurial success, sustained giving, and hands-on community involvement has earned Raymond H. Costa the 2024 Monterey Bay Stars Award for Man of the Year.
