Carmella by the Sea, the ever-charming Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a taste for gourmet dog menus, has been honored with a 2024 Dog of the Year Honorary Mention by the Monterey Bay Stars Awards. A true local legend, Carmella captured hearts with her regular visits to beloved spots like Hog's Breath Inn, TreeHouse Cafe, and Forge In The Forest.

Whether strolling along Carmel Beach or exploring Lovers Point Park, she embodied joy, grace, and a spirit that lit up every space she entered. As the cherished mascot of the Monterey Bay Stars Awards, Carmella’s presence brought warmth to our hearts and smiles to our faces.

We bid farewell to our sweet girl on New Year’s Eve, but her legacy lives on in every pawprint she left behind.
